Hair '24

The love-rock musical, Hair, follows a group of teenagers as they protest the Vietnam War and the draft in 1968. Throughout their self-exploration, the characters express their love for their self expression through the clothes they wear and the hair they rock. As a first time lead hair designer, I was challenged with the task of bringing forth the hippie counter-culture youth of the 1960s through their hair. Having the job of designing the title of the musical was a big responsibility, but I think I did it justice.
